Walk Every Street PG

​In mid-2024, I made a goal to walk every street in Pacific Grove, CA. I thought - why not? I love to be active, and I wanted to learn every street, notice every house (so many colorful homes to admire!), appreciate the gardens and greenery, and say hello to the neighborhood pets (so many friendly kitties!). You can certainly drive every street, but to really know a town, you have to walk their streets. 

I'm happy to share that I completed my goal and walked (every block of) every public street in Pacific Grove! It was joyful, soothing, healing. It was occasionally a tad stressful (e.g., walking along trafficky Forest Avenue with limited sidewalks near Trader Joe's during the 5 PM commute!). But I loved every walk... so much so that I decided to create a community walking group: Walk Every Street PG. As a REALTOR committed to fostering inclusive, healthy communities and with a deep appreciation for nature and home architecture, it was only natural to combine these interests.

Starting on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 and every Wednesday thereafter (until we finish), I'm co-leading Walk Every Street PG with my dearest friend and local artist, Amy Burkman. We'll lead the group to walk 3-4 miles at a pace of 20 minutes/mile. Strollers and friendly, leashed pets are welcome. You can follow along: https://www.instagram.com/walkeverystreetpg/.
